Zia New Mexico’s 1st 2019 Gathering
Albuquerque, New Mexico
The Chapter will once again meet at Vickie Ashcraft’s Enchanted Trails RV (and Hudson) Park, beginning with lunch at 1 pm. Great time and place to begin our new Hudsoning year! Please bring a snack, small meal or desert for all while we enjoy our Hudson-Essex-Terraplane needs and experiences. We’ll meet from 1 to 3 pm. No reservations needed of course. We will be sharing memories of our times working with Mistee, and we look forward to being with you again! You know the way: Drive up Nine Mile Hill on I-25 (or Historic Route 66) west of the Duke City. Come through the front or back door at Vickie’s Enchanted Trails. Let’s begin a great new year of Hudson Adventuring together. We look forward to seeing you there!

North Texas Business Meeting
We have a nice quiet enclosed outside area for our use with heat if needed. This is our annual business meet to elect Officers and to discuss other chapter business. NEC Winter Banquet
The Winter Banquet will meet at the Red Roof Inn, So. Deerfield, 3:00 PM, poolside. Bring snacks and beverage of choice. We’ll send out for pizza around 6:00. The cost will be around $5. On Sunday, March 24th, some will get Breakfast at the Sugar House. Then at noon we’ll meet at the Deerfield Inn for a banquet (food choices below). To reserve a Red Roof Inn room please call 800-733-7663. Use code B289HET323 for a rate of $69.99 plus taxes. Rooms are non-smoking, have 2 queen beds, a fridge and microwave. 10 rooms are blocked off, but you must reserve by February 23rd 2019.
Deerfield Inn Dinner cost is $34 with $10 off for Club members. In addition to Corn Chowder, you can choose one of the entrees listed below:

Phillips Mansion Tour
Join us for a tour of Phillips Mansion (rarely open to the public.) Built in 1875 which was the Second Empire style home of Louis Phillips, once LA County's richest man, in what was formerly the town of Spadra. The only remaining Spadra building and the first brick home in the Pomona Valley. We will also tour the Spadra cemetery the final resting place of Louis Phillips and other residents of the vanishing town of Spadra. Please arrive at 10, tour to begin at 10:30, cost is $15 for both tours .
Saturday, March 30th
Meet will start at 10:00 AM at Milton Robson’s notable collection (Tanners Mill Road, Gainesville, GA) He has added several exceptional vehicles since last year’s visit. We will be joined by the Lanier Corvette Club. This will provide an opportunity to see some new cars and interact with their owner.
Around 12:00 noon, we will adjourn to the Talmo Market Grill, opened by Wayne and Jill Miller several years ago. Prepare yourself for an outstanding lunch (order and pay at the front counter) and short business meeting.
After enjoying lunch, we will travel to the Miller’s Talmo Ranch. Cattle raised here is used to supply the Talmo Market Grill. As with Milton Robson’s collection, you will be quite impressed with the vehicles and artifacts Wayne has amassed. After a suitable period to absorb all you are seeing we will adjourn the event and make our way home after an enjoyable day.
For those who joined us at last year’s meet, you know this was a great event. This year promises to be even better. Tell your fellow members and bring out those Hudsons!

Southern Indiana Chapter’s Annual Crank-up meet
This meet will be hosted by Doug and Terri Wildrick, beginning at 10:30 a.m., lunch served at noon. Bring your Hudson, your lawn chair and your favorite covered dish or dessert. The New Doc’s Meet will be held Mother’s Day Weekend hosted by the Tri-State Mountain Roads and Chesapeake Bay Chapters.
